Laptop review Gigabyte AERO 17 XB : Nvidia RTX 2020 technologies
Hi everyone, today we are all on a new topic in which I am going to test a laptop pc, and it's not just any laptop pc.
Today I am going to test a gigabyte brand pc, we are not on a little extra quiet pc, it's just a monster this pc is equipped with lots of ultra interesting technologies, so it's the opportunity for me to talk to you about it, it's serious.
These are really technologies that will drive PCs forward in the next few years, so I'm really happy to write this article, so it's the (Gigabyte Aero 17 HDR XB).
Gigabyte Aero 17 HDR XB and as usual it is an advanced version, in the box on the side we will have the charger it is a 230 watt charger which is still quite big, like all large pc chargers. just below you simply have the pc.
As you have been able to see physically, it is a pc which really has a pc gaming DNA, but which still remains its fairly sober side and that really defines what they wanted to do with this pc, really big service gamer and big professional in the sense that this kind of machine with which you will be able to run any game in really amazing conditions, and any 3d editing software without any problem, this is a pc that is really made for that.
You may have noticed it too it is a pc which is relatively large there was a previous version which was in 15 inches square and has 17 inches the screen precisely, it is a screen that is 17 3 inches and a hd air screen with anti glare and ultra hd resolution, so the resolution it's 3840 by 2160 and this is all on an ip table is what is really cool about this screen already has it is that the bezels are really thin.
For games it's really immersive, and not to work is better too, moreover for creators those who work who do editing or photoshop, is how the screen is certified x-rite pantone which is quite simply a certification which indicates that the colors are ultra precise and the screens are really calibrated and
cleanly at the front of its factory for those who are really looking for that.
The very precise colors work on this pc there you will have them, you have a lot of connections on the pc on the ribs, so on the right side 2 usb of the hdmi and a socket for the power supply, on the other side you will have two usb sockets there are also obviously the input and output jacks, we have an sd card reader, I missed one more drama on the pc today and it pisses me off because it's ultra practical I don't want to walk around with an adapter all the time and that's where it is when you make video take your sd card out of the device and plug it directly into your pc is really super comfortable, and even for people who do not make video if you take photos with a small device etc ... it is better to connect directly to the computer, so thank you for having reserved an insert on it thank you.
you have a similar ethernet socket they are no longer found on pc at the moment, while sometimes it is extremely practical with the voice it will happen very recently in a position where the wifi was quite bad, i needed to connect to the internet to use a video on youtube and there was no ethernet socket on my pc, I realized at that time it's not pleasant to touchpad level.
We end up with something really precise and easy to use because it is large enough, we also have to unlock our pc a fingerprint reader, which is really not as precise as the ones you will be able to find on phones for example, but it's still quite practical.
The webcam will be found below the screen, it also has a small cover to protect you in case of potential intrusion there if it is ever pleasant to feel filmed.
The keyboard is a rgb 2.0 fusion backlit keyboard which means that the backlighting is manageable key by key, everyone wants to put blue on (A) and red on (B) as you want and type on this pc there is really nice.
It's still a pc that is basically made for gaming so you will be able to play with it without any worries.
As for the storage on this pc you have an available ssd of 512 Giga, you also have the possibility of adding an SSD by opening the pc, you never have enough space it is done, we have 16 giga of ram in the total, and there too we can increase the thing is passed to 64 and there it is really if you need it because if I come it's really already not bad. We don't work at nasa either we is not obliged to put 64 gigas but in some cases quite useful so why not.
Where it gets really interesting with this pc is that the graphic chip is a super nvidia geforce rtx 2070, we had this gigabyte of memory gddr 6 for those who know about it you know it but for the other GIGA of GDDR 6 it's incredible, it's really super good.
This pc we will talk about a little bit later but you can run anything it's impressive, these cards are based on the architect called turing, that's not interesting it's just the way they build the map, but where it's cool is that there are hearts that are dedicated to artificial intelligence so it's maps that are really going to be super useful.
There are two technologies that are only available on these cards:
- RAY TRACING
- NVIDIA DLSS 2.0
1 - RAY TRACING
RAY TRACING is a technology that is used a lot in the cinema and which allows to manage the light before creating video games simulated light reflections etc ...
It was not real and their and RAY TRACING really allows to simulate real light it's quite complicated to explain, but for example:
On minecraft it is very obvious when media occupy which makes light in the middle of a room you see that the cubes which are around low are a little clearer then even clearer more even clearer, it is the light which is stimulated we will give the cube a tent a little brighter there what the RAY TRACING does knows that it will wedge a point of light at the place where there is the cube which is supposed to shed light and it's going to react like that react.
2 - NVIDIA DLSS 2.0
is super sampling verdi planning these technologies that ensure the nvidia cards act which will be used enormously in artificial intelligence hence the fact that they have hearts that are dedicated to that, in the graphics chips and that in fact allows to display images much more precise and twice as fast as the graphics cards of the generations previous ones.
This is not negligible the frame rates are accelerated so we will really be able to enjoy RAY TRACING as we want with this power, we will also be able to increase the output resolutions so played in 4 k instead of 1080p for example, I am fine too allow to really stabilize the fps so the number of frames per second that you have in games because it happens when you have two graphics cards that are not extremely efficient to have falls made is this game will simply slow down on this pc.
To harmonize the presence of the processor and the graphics card that has a technology, this is where they are called the dynamic inches and which you have made and in fact balanced the consumption between the gpu and the cpu between the graphics card and the processor the design of this pc is a maxcube design which simply means that they have optimized space to death and graphics slap does not change compared to usual, but it is better placed the space is really optimized which makes the PCs thinner and cool much better, besides a windforce cooling which has improved compared to the previous versions of aero and with two fans to give you an idea compared to the previous versions.
The heat distribution is improved by 30% you can also see it on the back of the pc they don't mess around on the ventilations and cool the pc, it's really important it's not just won't bother what it gets hot and it's a little hot on the knees and this really impacts the performance of the pc directly because when pc heats up too much its reflex is to make all performance zones really restrict the pc to really prevent the components from burning.
The pc less well therefore improving the cooling it just makes the pairs great, it is much more stable the ventilation and fairly quiet base examination in power however obviously we will hear a little bit in silent mode.
to conclude this pc you understand it is a monster, for gamers who want no problem is that they want anyway a laptop this is perfect, and for content creators it's perfect you can edit it in 4k without any problem, it's a pc that remains very good for you, for example, does not need a lot of resources for editing we have powerful software and besides a lot of youtubes are streaming or playing video games and this pc is just the perfect combination.
